Recruitment, Selection, Training, and Management
Cairns South Baptist Church has certain procedures in place to ensure appropriate recruitment, selection, training and management of staff and volunteers.
Our application process to work with includes the following:
- Being provided with a position description;
- An application form;
- Provision of the code of conduct;
- Linking the volunteer’s Blue Card details with our organisation;
- An interview to help ascertain suitability and opportunity to ask questions and clarify the role;
- Completion of the Safe Ministry Check process, which includes reference checks and online training.
